Raffle: Sponsor Veterans bus trip to Highgrounds

Over the past 7+ years, one of our SOAR members has donated several beautifully crafted items to our Road Warrior Foundation fund raisers.  They have also been active members of, and donors to, their local VFW Post for many years.  These members give generously of their time and talents, making a difference in so many lives.  

SOAR joins with Rob's Performance Motorsports to invite you to join them in their endeavor to expand sponsorship of veteran bus trips to additional Wisconsin VFW posts for next year's Vietnam Veteran Reunion at The Highground Veterans Park in Neillsville, Wisconsin.   

The trips typically require a minimum of 2 coach buses.  Coach, because of the need for a bus that kneels providing easy access and storage for wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility devices.  Even after negotiating a generous discount, the hiring of these buses averages $1350 a piece.  Funds in excess of bus expenses will be donated to the Northwoods Honor Flight Benefit to send Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to them there. 

In support of the trip to The Highground Veterans Park, please consider purchasing raffle ticket(s) here on-line or in person at Rob's for your chance to win either the beautiful bench or the highly coveted, hand crafted wooden flag pictured above.  This handsome piece is similar to the one that fetched over $2,000 at the Road Warrior Foundation Auction at the 2022 Rendezvous.
