We'll be wrapping up our 2023 Riding Season and taking a sneak peek at 2024 during the SOAR Holiday Party. This year's fundraising beneficiary will be the American Brain Tumor Association.
We have set up a Tribute page with the American Brain Tumor Association honoring long-time SOAR member, ride leader and dear friend Don Voss. Don under went brain tumor surgery not long after he and Ardis lead and hosted the awesome SOAR ride and picnic pictured above. (Don & Ardis are in the front row, far right)
On September 20th of 2023, SOAR and Rob's Performance presented a $20,000 check to the Road Warrior Foundation in honor of James Lucht. We couldn't have done it without your support and contributions of time, talents and finances.
Many thanks to you, our SOAR family.

The Women of SOAR teamed up with the Women on Wheels Dairyland Originals Chapter to Celebrate the 17th International Female Ride Day in May.
Many thanks to WOW Dairyland Originals Chapter Director, Connie W, and her husband Bob, for opening their home and serving up a wonderful luncheon! A great time was had by all exploring and learning about the Kingston-Dalton Amish Settlement area. Be sure to check out the photo gallery.

We're looking forward to another great 2023 season for the Women of SOAR. Our rides are generally scheduled for the first Saturday of May, August and October. Watch the calendar for details.
The Women of SOAR headed to Verona to check out the EPIC campus. Kay B planned a fantastic route to get us there. The place is HUMONGOUS!!! Luckily we "fueled up" with lunch at Paddy Mac's Pub & Grill before tackling the hike through the EPIC Campus. You would be hard pressed to take in the entire campus in a single day. We took our best shot at it before heading to Icki Sticki for the obligatory ice cream. Check out the photo gallery.
In October the gals bundle up for a sunny, but chilly ride down to Stade's Farm and Market in McHenry, IL with Mary P. What a great family destination! The Farmtractions Theme Park offers hours of fun and entertaining attractions for kids of all ages! The Market features homegrown fruits and veggies, honey, a bakery and unique gift items. We had a delicious lunch right there on the grounds at the Smokin' Blue BBQ stand, and we didn't have to leave the farm for the customary ice cream stop thanks to the Countrytime Creamery stand. Here's a link to the photo gallery.

On September 20th of 2023, SOAR and Rob's Performance presented a $20,000 check to the Road Warrior Foundation in honor of James Lucht.
Jim was a member of the Spyder Owners and Ryders group for many years. He took great pride in volunteering his time and talents and he remained adamant about attending, volunteering, and supporting events with the help of his wife, Janice. We could always find him with a smile on his face, engaging people and selling tickets, raffle items, t-shirts, license plates or doing whatever was necessary to help raise funds for the Road Warrior Foundation. Jim's spirit of giving and caring, even when it was physically difficult for him, serves as an inspiration for us all. We are lucky to have called him a friend and we'll miss him dearly.
At the end of September 2022, Can-Am, together with the Road Warrior Foundation (RWF), hosted a group of military Veterans for an epic “Adventure Therapy” ride that covered more than 1,000 miles aboard Can-Am Spyder 3-wheel vehicles. This was a memorable ride with a great group of deserving Veterans
We all owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women of the US Armed Forces that protect our nation and way of life, especially those that have become wounded or injured. SOAR is a proud sponsor of the Road Warrior Foundation which offers adventure therapy to these AMERICAN HEROES. Through 2020, SOAR and Rob’s Performance have donated nearly $50,000 to this wonderful cause. Supporting RWF is a small way we can give just a little back to these men and women who have unselfishly given so much.
Drop us a line with any questions or suggestions on local events, shows and more. Whether you're new to the motorcycle scene or a longtime rider, we look forward to welcoming you to the community!
