2019 is an "ODD" year and as promised, Rob’s held a HUGE, ONE DAY, SOAR APPRECIATION PARTY! Employees, SOAR members, Spyder owners and many 2-wheeled rider friends joined in the festivities which included guided rides, a cookout, yard games and live music! the weather was perfect and a great time was had by all!
As humans, most of us naturally try to avoid change, we like things to stay familiar and comfortable. Well, SOAR & Rob’s Performance Motorsports think CHANGE CAN BE GOOD and we've decided to shake the Spyder Rendezvous up a little!
For those wanting to stay a little closer to home for the July ride, we plan to get a group together to take part in PBTF's Ride for Kids fund raiser, followed by a dinner ride. The dinner destination will most likely be David Alan Alan's Smokehouse and Saloon in Mukwonago, depending on the number of riders. https://www.daasmokehouse.com
To assist in planning the dinner ride following the event, please register by July 1st at the link found below. We'll leave from Rob's parking lot at 8:30am for a leisurely, scenic ride to the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn arriving around 10am.
The Ride for Kids is a police-escorted motorcycle ride starting at 11am and running a little over an hour. Local pediatric brain tumor survivors will accompany motorcyclists on their ride. Food and entertainment are available for all registered attendees.
Proceeds benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Be sure to select "Join a Team" to register as part of Rob's Performance Motorsports Team. You can learn more and preregister for the ride at https://team.curethekids.org/event/2019-wisconsin-ride-for-kids/e213824
One registration per person. Registration fee includes 2019 Ride for Kids T-shirt, ride pin, light breakfast and lunch at event. Please register by July 1st to help SOAR in planning the dinner ride that follows the event.
Those who have been with SOAR for a long time may remember when Rob's Performance Motorsports was a supporting Honda dealer of the PBTF Ride for Kids. It's since been relocated from the Madison area to the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, WI. We're hoping to foster a riders supporting relationship with this great cause. Scroll through their registration page to learn more.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women of the US Armed Forces that protect our nation and way of life, especially those that have become wounded or injured. SOAR is a proud sponsor of the Road Warrior Foundation who offers adventure therapy to these AMERICAN HEROES. To date, SOAR and Rob’s Performance have donated nearly $50,000 to this wonderful cause. Supporting RWF is a small way we can give just a little back to these men and women who have unselfishly given so much.
Drop us a line with any questions or suggestions on local events, shows and more. Whether you're new to the motorcycle scene or a longtime rider, we look forward to welcoming you to the community!
